µETA is adept in carrying out specific mathematical operations to achieve linear combinations of solver results. User has control over the weightage of participation of the each result. The tool allows for using data from multiple files or models to create individual states for respective load curves with minimal user interaction. The results that are deriving from tensor data (e.g.: Von Mises Stresses, other invariants) are calculated from the linearly combined tensor data. These linear combinations results can be displayed on the model as a contour and can be saved as one of the result state for further close investigation. This tools works only on NASTRAN, ABAQUS or results from a µETA database.
User Field Function:
This unique tool is useful in creating user defined data sets (result states) by mathematically combining solver extracted result states. All basic and most advanced mathematical operations are available in this tool. Each state can be a combination of results holding both deformation and functions value datasets. This tool can be used with any solver result already loaded into a µETA session.
Part and Multi model statistics:
Two tools are available within µETA for detailed recording statistics for models. Part statistics includes detailed information regarding the selected model and the current state. The user can filter and focus on specific PIDs which, for example, may have a high stress/strain. Multi model state statistics is a table displaying information on Maximum and Minimum values of results at All entities (Parts, Nodes, Elements and Groups) level, for every state, every cycle (in case of Design Optimization results) and for every available model.
Both recording tables comprise comprehensive, completely configurable, spreadsheets, for all available results of models, offering the option to save data in HTML and CSV format. Moreover, Statistics table can be synchronized with the States for automatically updating values according to the current state.
µETA offers a Report Composer tool to facilitate fast and effortless communication of results across departments. Reports are readily generated based on interactively built templates. The report can be generated in either HTML or PPTX format and the composer supports texts, tables, images, embedded objects and links. The concept of the Report Composer is to create the templates once and then set up the report interactively. Once this is accomplished then the user can save the created session file and run this session every time a report needs to be created.
Section Forces Tool:
Section Forces tool is intended for the display and calculation of grid point forces / moments and their resultants for NASTRAN, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA and PAMCRASH. The user has to request the appropriate output while running the model. Refer to the user manual for the appropriate output requests. The user can then cut a section and calculate the forces/moments flowing thru the sections. Once calculated, these forces along with the model can be output into a NASTRAN deck to be input into a pre-processor for use in sub-structuring.
